Ceiling-Mounted Infrared Patio Heater 1.8 kW with Remote

A ceiling-mounted heater warms the whole table from above while keeping the floor and walls completely clear - ideal for covered pergolas with a solid roof, verandas, carports turned into dining areas and garden rooms. This slim 100 cm aluminium heater hangs on two drop brackets and directs its infrared heat straight down onto the people sitting below. Three power levels (600 W, 1200 W and 1800 W) are selected with the included remote control, and the low-glare element gives a soft light rather than a harsh red glow.

Care

Always switch off and unplug the heater and let it cool before cleaning. Wipe the housing with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not use water jets, abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the grille, reflector or glass cylinder and the base free of dust and leaves. When it is not in use for long periods, store the heater (or the cable and plug of a fixed heater) in a dry place.

Safety

Use outdoors in covered areas or in well-ventilated spaces only. Plug it into a correctly installed, earthed, weatherproof outdoor socket protected by an RCD; if you use an extension lead, it must be rated for outdoor use and fully unwound. Do not cover the heater, do not touch the element or grille while hot, keep children and pets away, and unplug it when not in use. Clearances: mount it only under a solid roof that can safely carry it, at least 1.8 m above the floor and with at least 0.3 m to the ceiling surface (use the drop brackets supplied) and 1 m to walls, plants and fabrics. For covered areas only - never in rain. A fixed heater must be within reach of its 1.8 m cable of a weatherproof outdoor socket; if you need a new socket or want the heater wired in, have it installed by a qualified electrician.
