Freestanding Infrared Patio Heater 2 kW on Telescopic Pole

An infrared heater warms people and surfaces directly rather than the air around them, so you feel the heat within seconds of switching on - even on a breezy evening. This 2 kW heater sits on a slim telescopic pole and a heavy round base, so you can carry it to wherever you are sitting: beside the lounge chairs, at the end of the dining table or on a covered terrace. The pole adjusts from 1.5 m to 2.0 m, the heater head tilts, and three power levels are switched at the head or with the included remote control.

Care

Always switch off and unplug the heater and let it cool before cleaning. Wipe the housing with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not use water jets, abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the grille, reflector or glass cylinder and the base free of dust and leaves. When it is not in use for long periods, store the heater (or the cable and plug of a fixed heater) in a dry place.

Safety

Use outdoors in covered areas or in well-ventilated spaces only. Plug it into a correctly installed, earthed, weatherproof outdoor socket protected by an RCD; if you use an extension lead, it must be rated for outdoor use and fully unwound. Do not cover the heater, do not touch the element or grille while hot, keep children and pets away, and unplug it when not in use. Clearances: keep at least 1 m between the heater head and walls, parasols, awnings and plants, and at least 0.5 m to any ceiling; always stand it on level ground.
