Twin-Head Infrared Patio Heater 2.6 kW on Wheeled Stand

The twin-head heater warms a long dining table or a whole seating area from one stand. Two 1.3 kW infrared heads sit side by side on a T-bar at the top of a sturdy steel pole, and each head tilts and switches on separately - use one head for two people or both for the whole table. The heavy square base has two wheels at the back, so you can tip it and roll it from the terrace to the shed without lifting. It plugs into a standard 13 A UK socket and needs no gas.

Care

Always switch off and unplug the heater and let it cool before cleaning. Wipe the housing with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not use water jets, abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the grille, reflector or glass cylinder and the base free of dust and leaves. When it is not in use for long periods, store the heater (or the cable and plug of a fixed heater) in a dry place.

Safety

Use outdoors in covered areas or in well-ventilated spaces only. Plug it into a correctly installed, earthed, weatherproof outdoor socket protected by an RCD; if you use an extension lead, it must be rated for outdoor use and fully unwound. Do not cover the heater, do not touch the element or grille while hot, keep children and pets away, and unplug it when not in use. Clearances: keep at least 1 m between the heater heads and walls, parasols, awnings and plants, and at least 0.5 m to any ceiling; stand it on level ground and never move it while it is switched on.
